Emergency & Production Controls
These controls are stored in Supabase and audited. They never delete catering data or change the calculator formula.
Application state
Maintenance blocks normal staff access while preserving Super Admin recovery access. Emergency shutdown blocks normal application access.
Maintenance message
Shown to blocked staff when Maintenance or Emergency Shutdown is active.
Service switches
Branding & Login
Control the name and wording shown on the staff login and application navigation. These values are stored in Supabase.
Brand logo
Change the Buffet Prep administration logo yourself. PNG, JPG or WebP up to 250 KB. The new logo is shared across admin pages.
Backup & Recovery
Record a real Supabase, Vercel or off-site backup verification. This does not create a backup.
Recovery checklist
1. Put the app into Maintenance before investigation.
2. Run the System Check dashboard.
3. Roll back the Vercel deployment if a code release caused the problem.
4. Stop normal access before considering any database restore.
5. Return to LIVE only after critical checks are green.
